Will Intel Core i7-8700 processor support LR Classic CC?

Hello,

I am planning to upgrade my PC desktop. There are 2 options I consider:

1. Dell XPS Tower

Intel Core i7-8700 processor

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5X

2. Dell XPS Tower

i9-9900K 8-Core processor

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5X

PC with i7 is about $700 cheaper than the one with i9. My question is whether i7 will support Lightroom Classic CC well enough? Any other options will be appreciated?

I have a custom built tower PC running the I7-8700K. Works really great on LR CL CC 8.2.

The I7-8700 is the same except for overclocking which I don't use.

Thanks a lot for the info. My concern is that i7 doesn't hang and freeze on a substantial editing of RAW files. My current old AMD A8 6500 drives me nuts.

Nope, it cuts through the BIG Nikon D850 files like butter. Even 9 image panos work fine.
