WIN 10 DNG CODEC 2.0 does not work with AI Denoised DNG Files (Crashes)

I installed the latest version of Lightroom with IA denoise but the DNG file generated cannot be previewed in WIN10 Explorer with DNG CODEC 2.0 (latest version). It cashes Explorer. Other DNG files from RAW conversions work fine.

I am not able to replicate this.  Enhanced files show as correct thumbnails and previews in Windows 10 Explorer. I do not experience a crash. 

 

We’ve reviewed the email address you use with this forum and find no crash reports in our system.

 

Did you see a crash dialog?

Do you use a different email address when filling out the crash report?

Was the crash dialog Adobe’s? Microsoft’s?

There is no crash report, the Explorer window just shuts down/disappears. The file is visible when in details or list view modes but crashes Explorer when in Icon views. Must be the CODEC but not sure what option I have to fix that.

Uninstall it? It's simply not needed if Win 10 is reasonably up to date.


Tried uninstall. No success, same situation. Regular converted DNG show fine, but the one generated by AI Denoise bombs Windows explorer in Icon View.

WIN10 is up-to-date. Here is the regular view

Now that I removed the CODEC, the PS sticker shows up. Was not with the CODEC.
