Windows 11 Displays Grayed Out Images In Library Module

I was running LR 6.14 and upgraded to Windows 11. In Library all my images are grayed out, with no error indications. Switching to Develop, I can see and modify the image, but there is no image in the Navigator box. Realizing that LR 6.14 is a little aged, I upgraded to LR 11.5. I get the same results in the Library and Develop Modules. Google searches have provided no resolution.

If disabling the GPU doesn't help, a quick way to test for a bad display profile is to assign sRGB temporarily:

http://www.lightroomqueen.com/articles-page/how-do-i-change-my-monitor-profile-to-check-whether-its-corrupted/

If the GPU and display profile aren't causing the problem, then see this help article:

BTW, upgrading to LR 12 does not resolve the problem.

First, try disabling GPU in the preferences (Performance). Any better?

If not, recalibrate and build a new ICC display profile; the old one might be corrupted. If you are using software/hardware for this task, be sure the software is set to build a matrix, not LUT profile, Version 2, not Version 4 profile.

If turning OFF the GPU works, it's a GPU bug, and you need to contact the manufacturer or find out if there's an updated driver for it.

Thank you, John.

Following the instructions at the link for 'change profile to check' my problem resolved and both LR 6 and LR 12 are now working, showing thumbnails.
