The Z 9 was added to the the Nikon SDK on June 7, 2022.

Adobe usually incorporates the latest tethering SDKs from Nikon and Canon in the next release or two after the SDKs are updated:

LR releases every 8 weeks on average, so we might expect to see tethering support for the Z 9 at the end of the summer or this fall.
