I usually zoom in and out of an image with Shift and the mouse. All of the sudden this function stopped working. Did I hot a wrong key somewhere? Has anyone experienced this behaviour?
I believe you're referring to what is known as 'scrubby' zoom, which is only available in the Develop module. If it's not working in the Develop module, then I suggest that you reset the Lightroom Classic 'Preference' file as described in Method 1 at https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/setting-preferences-lightroom.html
