P: Clear same name suggested for other faces when the name is acknowledged for one face

I have a group photo and want LRC to recognise faces. On several different faces, the same name is suggested with a question mark.

As soon as I have acknowledged the name for a specific face, all other suggestions of the same name for other faces should instantly be cleared.

The software should always assume that a single person can only be present once on a given photo!

(Even if a mirror arrangement shows the same person multiple times, it should only be tagged once.)

Hi,

I believe it should be a bug that on finding similar faces LC estimates the same name for different on the same photo. Same person cannot exist twice on the same shot, if not creatively added.

Lightroom simply searches for faces, and does not concern itself with questions like this. Obviously a face recognition search will never be 100% correct, so two times the same face in one photo could be within the margin of error. It's also not impossible at all. The photo could show a person reflected in two mirrors, for example. Or perhaps identical twins.

Na identificação de Pessoas, quando uma foto tem muitas pessoas e eu já identifiquei uma pessoa com nome X nela, a aplicação continua a sugerir que várias outras faces na mesma foto sejam da pessoa X. Isso não devia acontecer. A pessoa X só pode existir uma vez em cada foto. Nesse caso devia apenas incluir um sinal de interrogação ou sugerir outro nome com base em semelhanças. Se num determinado evento tenho centenas de fotos de grupos, quando já identifiquei uma Pessoa todas as outras faces das mesmas fotografias em que a pessoa já foi identificada deveriam desaparecer quando estou à procura de mais fotos da pessoa específica X depois de entrar nas pessoas já nomeadas e escolher a pessoa X retiraria milhares de opções e melhoraria muito a performance. Estou a fazer uma gestão de fotos de uma família grande onde há muitas semelhanças entre muitas pessoas e parecenças em idades posteriores entre pais e filhos ou irmãos parecidos com idades diferentes. Depois de umas férias com milhares de fotos ou no final do ano como agora em que estou a gerir toda essa identificação está difícil e muito lento devido a essa falha no algoritmo. No caso de uma pessoa específica que só agora comecei a adicionar está a sugerir mais de 88000 Faces e quando essa cara já foi identificada em mais de 5500 fotografias se todas as faces nas mesmas fotografias onde aparecem essas 5500 fossem automaticamente descartadas iriam aparecer um número muito mais reduzido de Faces.

The case is only about face = Someone. Someone exist only once in a photo. If you have several mirrors with reflections of someone's face having the real face or not in the picture the decision of marking one or other maybe your own error. LRC less good is to facilitate error possibilities and performance problems. From my experience shooting someone playing violin in the middle of an orchestra or in the middle of crowded events show me a lot of faces in each photo. The same face appears in all the photos because it's the one you were shooting at. If you have 100 or more photos with 30 to 40 faces each, it's between 3000 to 4000 faces, let’s say 3500. If I mark the first face from any photo from someone I am searching in the middle of all possible detected faces then I go manage from that someone's face with the given name. Then what happens is that I still have 3499 faces to choose but what I should have is something like less than 3470 faces. When  by any mistake I would choose two faces from the same photo for Someone's name it should ask which one I want to choose. 
My real problem is that I want to manage from time to time after I get like now more than 100k faces to search the one's to mark. It would be good to have a "Faces from unknown" context button that would group all the faces I can’t give a name. That would be the only place to group faces even if lots of faces would be from the same photo. If I would go check the "Faces from unknown" that would sort by similar faces for each date as it does to some blocks of unselected faces. That would be TOP to cover all the possibilities to recover from errors. The main goal to me is to have all faces checked. That’s the only way I trust that everyone known is easy to get when needed. And I need it a lot of times.
