There are limitations with drivers and libraries. Classic was originally written for x86 systems and rewriting some of the code is extremely complicated. I think Adobe is banking on Lightroom Cloud for these systems. I don't think there will be any compatibility coming, at least not in the near future...
I teach how to use Lightroom Classic to thousands of students in Australia and really need a native Snapdragon version so people can use it. Or at least let the older version be downloaded here in Australia.
That clearly doesnàt help us n Europe or Uk, or rest of world. Does anyone know why this option is restricted to North America? That also doesn't make much sense.
I know which is why this is even more frustrating. Why can't Australia/Europe/UK etc install the Intel version on the exact same computer running Snapdragon/ARM?
Where are you staying in the world? Can anyone in Europa confirm if they are able to download Lightroom Classic on the arm pc ? I have been looking at this device for more then 6 months. But this would be for Lightroom Classic travelling and this is a MUST for me. So i will not get this before i am sure i can run this in ARM version or emulations. And where i can install it using the adobe not copy files.
Is it just me or the Intel version available for arm since last week isn't working properly ? My catalog contains about 55.000 pictures and when i want to import some more it's loading for ever without any success
