Hi Adobe team 👋
First of all, congratulations on bringing the new “Remove Dust” feature directly into Lightroom Classic. It works incredibly well — the AI mapping and automatic cleanup of lens dust is a huge time-saver and very accurate.
I’d like to suggest extending this feature to cover another common issue: dead or burned pixels caused by sensor damage. In my case, my camera sensor was hit by a laser, and now I have a few fixed pixel spots that show up in every photo. With a fixed lens, the position is consistent and easier to correct, but with zoom lenses, the location shifts slightly, forcing me to manually fix each image one by one.
It would be amazing if Lightroom Classic could include a “Remove Pixel Damage” option — detecting and correcting recurring pixel artifacts across a batch of images. I believe this could be implemented similarly to the dust removal logic and would help many photographers dealing with aging sensors or accidental damage.
Thanks for considering this idea, and congrats again on the great work with the current AI tools!
