Canon 70-200 2.8 L IS III support?

Hi, I just bought a Canon 6D Mk II and a 70-200 2.8 IS L III, but it looks like the v3 of the 70-200 is not supported.

How long does it take before LR typically adds support for a new majhor category lens?

Could I use the 70-200 v2 as a manually selected alternative, or should I just leave it, or wait?
