Develop settings are turned off

Hi,

I have just moved my LR6 catalogue to a new location and now, in develop, all the settings are turned off. They are still there, I just have to click the little light switch to turn them on. Why did this happen, and is there a way to globally turn everything on?

Thanks,

Gerry.

How about a screenshot in develop modules, one of your problem images, complete with entire history panel visible.

Wondering if during a previous session you had all or many images selected and Auto Sync on, and you turned off the various panel actions in an experiament, history may show that.

Possible work around, select all affected panels, auto sync on, turn on each panel.

The Reset(Adobe) was because I had pressed [Shift], as my screenshot hotkey is [Shift]+[Ctrl] +[Print screen]. Never saw this before.

I haven't done very much editing, although I did Export metadata to xmp files a few times (for ON1). This problem affects all images.

I am a bit wary with syncing, as there are multiple lenses.

Hmm, "Multiple Settings", that could be anything. so no smoking gun.

When you click in the history panel. to before "Multiple Settings" what happens on the right?

Folks, why, in the first screenshot, does the Reset button state Reset (Adobe)??

Hmmm, good catch. I have installed ON1 Photo Raw 2019 (thinking about going over to the dark side). Maybe ON1 is screwing things.

Please upload a screen shot of what you are seeing in your library module.

Where did you move your catalog to? Did you move the Lightroom folder or just the .lrcat file? Where are your images located? Are you seeing exclamation points or question marks on your images?

Typically if you are unable to edit in the develop module it is because Lr doesn't know where the original is (unless you have created smart previews).

Hi,

thanks for the reply. I only moved the catalogue to another drive, the images are at the same location.

Everything seems to work fine, LR can find all the photos, no question marks or exclamation marks, only all the adjustments are turned off. Turning them on then applies the corrections and enables editing.

Update.

If I import a photo, all is turned on as normal. The "problem" is with existing photos.
