Hello.  I have just purchased Lightroom for Mac.  I am trying to move photos off my iPhone onto my Mac.  That is, I want to take them off my iPhone, not copy them.  The Move button is greyed out in Lightroom.  I can only seem to copy them.  Does anyone know how to Move rather than Copy?  Thank you.

You can't move photos from a mobile device, only copy them. But what stops you from deleting the images from the iPhone manually after you've copied them? That's the same as moving...

Yes, I can do this, but then it's a two step process.  With my old Nikon software I could move, rather than copy.

Adobe has made the very deliberate and clear decision with regards to Lightroom that there is no "Move" option from a mobile device. You can debate it all you want, you can point out that other software will do this, but Lightroom will not allow a "Move" at import.
