Lightroom deleted my Photos? Can I recover them?

Hey guys,

i got new Lightroom Classic CC and I imported some Photos from my SDcard.. but after a while I saw that now

on the card is only one folder with the photos in it which I imported. All my other Photos and Videos on the

Card arent there anymore.. can I recover them? Sorry for my bad english 😕

First off LR is set to copy images from a SD card to a folder on a drive connected to your computer during the import process.

So have you searched you PCs hard drives for your images?

It sounds like you accidentally opened the wrong catalog (or a new empty catalog).

Go to File->Open Recent and open each catalog shown there until you find the catalog with the photos you want.

They will also still be on the card if you haven't formatted it...

I only imported some of the photos and then I edited them and closed Lightroom. Then I looked on the sd card and

there is only one folder named 2017 in which ist another folder in which the imported photos are. All the other Photos aren't

anywhere, I can't find them.. 😕
