Lightroom: Installing Samyang lens profiles

I have trouble getting the right lens profiles for my Samyang 12mm f/2 and 8mm f/2.8.

I shoot on the Sony E system and https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/supported-lenses.html#Samyang says these lenses should be available.

When I open one of the RAW images in LR6 and navigate to the lens correction tab, Samyang is not even in there.

Neither do these profiles exist at /Applications/Adobe Lightroom/Adobe Lightroom.app/Contents/Resources/LensProfiles.

I also tried downloading them using the Adobe Lens Profile Downloader.

Am I correct this is a very dated application from 2012?

I had to download another software Adobe AIR to be able to use it and then there were only a handful of profiles, no Samyang.

Why isn't there some Cloud I can acces through my browser, download the profiles and put them in a folder?

Have you tried choosing the "custom" setup option when applying the lens profile? For some reason my Samyang 12mm f/2.0 RCS lens only show up when I choose custom. If I leave Default checked it doesn't show up. Screenshot taken on Lightroom CC, no extra profile installed.

I've got not the same but a very similar issue. Yesterday I moved from LR6.8 to LR-CC 2015. Under LR6.8, I had all Samyang lens profiles available - now under LR-CC 2015, all Samyang lens profiles have disappeared. Is this a failure or a feature? Still searching the web..... best regards and good luck! Lutz

There is no difference between LR6.8 and CC2015.8 regarding the profiles.

What is the exact type of the lens, the camera used and is it raw or jpg?

Did you update to LR6.4 or newer?
