Lightroom Presets only showing up for Raw files, but not jpegs

Hi guys, i recently purchased a set of presets that specified it works for both raw and jpegs. After installing the purchased presets, i found that only a few of the purchased presets shows up when i'm in Develop mode with a jpeg file and when i switch to a Raw file, all of the purchased presets comes up.

I had emailed the creator of the presets and he informed me that the presets should work in both jpeg and raw, but i tried multiple times and it seems like some of presets in his package just doesn't show up when working with jpeg images.

Is there a way to fix this? or are some of the presets in the package just not compatible with jpegs?

Do the menu command Help > System Info and verify you are on 8.1. In previous versions LR hides presets that have the Treatment & Profile option checked when you’re editing non-raws.

Be useful to know more about the supplied presets (who?).

If you toggle on or off "Store Presets with Catalog" preference, any difference?

If some of the options in the preset apply only to raw files, then the preset will not show up for JPG files.

If some of the options in the preset apply only to raw files, then the preset will not show up for JPG files.

That was true in versions prior to LR 8.1, but in 8.1 all presets will display for all types of photos, provided the option Preferences > Presets Tab > Show Partially Compatible Develop Presets is checked (which it is, by default).  See here for details: https://www.lightroomqueen.com/whats-new-in-lightroom-classic-81/
