Recently changed computers with resultant new OS (Mojave 10.14.2). Lightroom 6 installed from disc and worked fine until I tried to download .orf files from my Olympus OM-D EM1 m2 today (files imported fine from the EM5 m2). Now no previews available and it wouldn't import files. Why would Lightroom suddenly not recognize files it was dealing with fine before?
The installation from disk is version 6.0. For your camera model support requires version 6.9 as minimum. In your case I would suggest 6.14

You should be able to download 6.14 from Download Photoshop Lightroom

Although the ORF file extension is the same, the ORF file format is different for every model of Olympus camera.
Thus Lightroom has to be updated every time a new camera model is released by camera makers.
If you check the table linked by Ian Lyons in his reply above, you'll see that your version 6.0 recognises ORF files from the OM-D E-M5 M2 but not from the newer OM-D E-M1 Mark II - which requires 6.9 or later.
Hence, you need to update Lightroom to 6.14 - which includes all previous updates. 6.14 was the last ever free update for the perpetually licensed version 6 before subscriptions to Lightroom Classic CC became mandatory.
