Setting Black and White points

I use Windows 10 and purchased version LR6.    LR wont let me use control alt shift to set my black and white points or use my Masking slider.   Why not, whats wrong?

Press Shift and double-click the Blacks and Whites sliders if you want to automatically set black and white points.

You can Shift+double-click all the sliders in the Basic panel to apply automatic adjustments.

As for the masking slider in the Detail panel, hold down the Alt key to see the effect.

White areas will be sharpened, black areas will be protected.

    It's the same shortcut for Exposure, Contrast, Highlights, Shadows, Whites and Blacks.

    It doesn't work with the sliders under Presence - Clarity, etc.

    As far as I know, there is no such things as setting a black point or setting a white point in Lightroom. Maybe you mean something different?

    According to this list of keyboard shortcuts, there is no keyboard shortcut for "set white point" or "set black point". https://www.lightroomqueen.com/keyboard-shortcuts/lrcc6/
