Hello,
I would like to do a Softproof in Lightroom. The ICC profile "ISOcoated_v2_300_eci.icc" is received from the print house where I will print a photobook
After installing and new start of Lightroom Classic CC this profile is not available
Anybody an idea what is the reson for this?
Thanks
Lightroom does not support soft proofing to CMYK profiles, only to RGB profiles. This is confusing because CMYK support was added some time ago (I believe in Lr 6.0), but it was removed again a bit later because it was not reliable.

When you turn on SoftProof, the "profiles" menu offers an edited list of choices. It does not automatically offer all of the colour profiles currently available in the computer (that would be effectively unusable, containing lots of profiles that were of no relevance).
Rather, you decide which profiles are going to be directly useful to you in LR.
To add a profile here, select "Other" and then choose it from the full listing.

Thanks a lot for the quick answers.
So I will open the photo in Photoshop for proof.

CMYK profiles, like ISOcoated_v2_300_eci.icc, are not supported for soft proofing.
They were supported in LR 6/CC 2015, but the support was removed (temporarily, according to Adobe) in version 6.6/2015.6, apparently because it wasn't working properly.
