supported lens profiles are missing

How do I add profiles for supported lenses to Lightroom?

In "Lens Corrections" in the Develop tab, my list of lens profiles does not include many of those "List of Supported Lenses" on Adobe's web page.  Examples include the Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM and TAMRON SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD A007E.  Updating my version of Lightroom tonight did not add these supported lenses to my lens profiles.

same issue.  I have the tamron 18-270.  it is a supported lens but is not showing in the lens profile options.  please let me know how this can be fixed.

Lens profiles are mostly only for raw files.  If you are looking at a JPG (or other non-raw such as PSD or TIF) then you won't see very many lens profiles.

You’ve posted to a very old thread. It is highly unlikely that the issue described in this thread, though not impossible, is the same issue which you are currently experiencing. Rather than resurrect an old thread that is seemingly similar, you are better posting to a new thread with fresh, complete information including system information, a complete description of the problem and step-by-step instructions for reproduction.

In the unlikely event the issue is the same, we will merge you back into the appropriate location.

Thank you!

This is simply crazy. My copy of lightroom shows 1 count them 1 sony lens. There is clearly something wrong.

Mirrorless cameras use Built-in Profiles. There's usually an on the panel showing this.

I was seeing a very abbrievated list of profiles on a new install, most were missing..  after i clicked the setup drop down menu in the lens correction box and changed it to custom, the profiles all show up now, in all three setup options. Weird. Hopefully this helps someone.

Hi brianh,

Please Refer: Work with lens profiles in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Camera Raw

Let us know if that helps.

I'm sorry, Mohit, but that is what I already read.  That is the page that tells me profiles should exist for my lenses and for Lightroom, but it says nothing about how to download them if they're missing from the list in Lightroom itself.  I'm trying to find out how to obtain additional profiles from Adobe itself.  I also already tried the Lens Profile Downloader, but it only gave me limited profiles created by other users, not the complete lens profiles created by Adobe corporation.

Please explain how to add lens profiles to Adobe Lightroom 6.4.
