P: Lightroom installing failure on Mac OS Ventura (NL & PO Languages)

I just tried til help a friend with installing Lightroom on Mac OS Ventura. Creative Cloud was installed, and I used the button Install on Lightroom in the Creative Cloud app. The installation was performed, and reported Completed. Lightroom button changed to Open.
Clicked on Open, but nothing happened.
Wide search in Finder for the Lightroom app file, but it was not found on the entire disk.
Edit: As Lightroom is tested compatible with Ventura, this is probably related to the installer app or lack of priveleges. See my comment below.

While we investigate you can attempt the following workaround:

Change the language of your Creative Cloud Desktop App to English

Install Lightroom Desktop 6.1

Revert to your Native Language

The Creative Cloud Desktop team has identified the issue and logged a bug for a fix in an upcoming release.

Exactly the same as you showed. I reinstalled all Adobe stuff hoping it will help, but no luck 😞

More version info in the attached file.

Is it possible to share a screenshot of your Applications folder showing the Adobe Apps installed?

Thanks. I am bringing in the Desktop team here though it may be a Creative Cloud App issue. Please stand by.

While the teams investigate the only workaround I am aware of is to change your language on the CCD App to English. Install. Then convert back to your native language.

I have changed primary language of installed apps to english, after that "installed" LR 6.1 - same issue,  Lightroom installing quick from 0% to 99% in 2 sec.

Should I change whole CC language to english? if yes, how?

My friend changed install language to default, and that helped. Lightroom is now installed.

On Creative Cloud online I can see the option to install Lightroom. When I try to, I'm guided to Creative Cloud Desktop App, but there the installation of lightroom is not possible. It's not in the options. Lightroom classic is, but not another version.

What subscription plan have you bought? Presumably the Photography Plan? Can you show us a screenshot of the "All Apps" tab of the Creative Cloud Desktop app, showing both the "Installed" and the "Available in your Plan" sections?

Do you have Lightroom Classic already installed? If so, please open it then go to the Help menu>System Info and post a screenshot of the resulting display (from the Lightroom Classic version entry down to the Application folder entry)?

If it's not installed, can you provide the Windows OS version (10 or 11) and the specific version number? Also, how many monitors do you have and what are the screen resolutions?

Please post some more details of your system, i.e. OS and version, CPU ....

Additionally, a screen capture of what you see in the desktop app when you have the category Photo selected could be helpful.

I uninstalled Lightroom classic.

I get this screen when I click on install in my account (online):

Roosje28371983mixo_0-1676282248849.png

It says lightroom will be installed at creative cloud desktop but there I don't see that option.

In my account (business/school account) Lightroom is incorperated:

I use one screen at the moment.

I use windows 11 (education)

I use windows 11.

In creative cloud desktop: I see lightroom for mobile and webversion, but not the desktop version.

Roosje28371983mixo_0-1676282494194.png

I already uninstalled all programmes and creative cloud desktop app and started all over. But that was no solution.

Online, in my account, I can see that lightroom desktop is in my account.

A few weeks ago I used it, but I uninstalled it, followed an help instruction because opening the programme took several trials.

After my uninstallation it was not available anymore...

I asked for a screenshot of the Cretive Cloud Desktop app showing the All Apps tab so that we could see what you already have installed and what is currently available to install, like this:

By @Roosje28371983mixo

We need to know the actual screen resolution of the monitor, and we need to know the actual build number of your Windows 11 OS. I'm trying to understand why Lightroom Classic would show in the app, but not Lightroom, and the only small differences in the system requirements for these two apps relate to monitor resolution and Windows 11 build numbers. Hence my question.

Please type lightroom in the search and see if you get something similar as below. Use the arrow on the right to see more.

Thanks for the screenshots, though it would perhaps help to see the remainder of that All Apps tab.

Apart from that, there doesn't seem to be any issue with meeting the system requirements, so I'm somewhat at a loss to figure out what's happening here. It's beginning to look like we'll need someone from Adobe to investigate your subscription plan to help figure out what's going wrong.
