P: "Outdated" AI Settings but 0 Updates To Make

Community Beginner ,
Nov 08, 2025 Nov 08, 2025

As title suggests, running in to issues where I'll be hit with a prompt / error on exporting, saying I have "Outdated AI Settings", despite that specific image having 1) No updates to be made to the masks and 2) "No updates" happening when I force an update via Photo > Update AI Settings In 1 Photo.

This is mildly infuriating,  as when exporting large amounts of photos it can throw up a dozen or more "errors" despite there being nothing that I can do to remedy the issue.

LR Version: 9.0 (present on previous versions, however less frequent)

Mac OS Version: Tahoe 26.1 (present on previous Mac OS versions)

Greetings, I have been in conference with one of the developers, and they've asked if it is possible for you to "export on of the files as an 'Original with settings' and send it to us?

Thanks!

We've been unable to reproduce the issue with the file you've provided.
Please advise if, after the next Lightroom update (9.1), you continue to experience the issue.
I do not have an ETA to share for the date of that release.
