Lightroom mobile/iPad watermark bug

Version of app: 8.4

Ipad Pro and IPhone X both on os 16.5

When exporting the photo, turn slider on for watermark then click customise under watermark, use the horizontal and vertical sliders to try and position a small watermark in corner of the photo. The sliders can't go below 0 or higher than 100 meaning certain size watermarks can't be placed in the very corner.

I think Adobe need to give the option to go below 0 and above 100 on the horizontal and vertical sliders so that this can be resolved.

Hello @Rachael Alexandra,

What type of water mark do you use (text or graphic) and what corner you try to place it? It would also be helpful if you could attach the screen shot

Thank you,

Elmira

Hello, The watermark is a graphic, I can only put the watermark in one corner on some photos if I rotate it before hand but if the photo is cropped then this makes it harder to put the watermark in the very corner at all. I have attached a photo of me trying to add the watermark but I want it further in the corner than it'll allow. If I want it in the very corner I can't do this with the sliders. If I make the graphic smaller it automatically moves toward the corner more, if I make the graphic larger it moves the graphic more to the centre of the photo. If the sliders were able to go below 0 and higher than 100 then this would easily be resolved, either that or a drag and drop placement? IMG_1088.png

Hello @Rachael Alexandra and @Todd Duvio,

As it turns out, you should still be able to place a watermark on the corner (though it's not intuitive or informantive enough and we'll look into the way to improve it).

Meanwhile, try this:

In all cases, the selected "anchor" by default is the bottom-left corner. In order to place the watermark relative to a different corner, the designed UI requires that you first tap on the dot near that corner (upper right or left in your case), and then set the offset to be relative to that side/corner of the photo.

Thank you,

Elmira
