Hi,

Idon't know if you can help me here but I got a strange behavior. I wanted to try out your Android App (Version 9.0.1) created an account and now everytime I load up a picture it shows totally blue. I can edit it and export it then everything is fine. Same if I try to take a screenshot. In the screenshot all fine. I don't know what's happening.

Is it possible that's a feature of the free version?

Can you help? 😊

Thanks.

Mike

Please update to Lightroom Mobile for Android version 9.1.1 as soon as it is available in your App Store (note - it may take a few days to appear).

Thank you for your patience.

The first picture is when im not active in the app (in this case switching to another one) the other two are when the app is active... I cannot find any reason for it.

Settings status - adding bug number.

Note: If you are using the Android Beta and you revert to the current public OS version, does the problem remain?

Additionally, the team would like to collect your device's Android OS Build number. Please post it in the comments.

In addition I just updated my phone to the newer Beta Version: U1B2.230922.013, problem/behavior still exists.

Software:Adobe Lightroom Android v9.0.1
Device: Pixel 8 Pro (Android 14 beta QPR2)

*Problem details

When displaying an image in the development module, the image appears to be a negative inversion.

In some cases, the negative image will be displayed normally after a while,
but the same situation will occur when you move on to the next photo.
Also, if you enable HDR editing, the display will not be correct at all.

It is likely that the HDR support is not working properly,

but it is unconfirmed whether similar cases have occurred with other people.

The attached file is a photo of a red beer case (display is broken)

Having the same issue. The issue seems to be caused by the swapping of the red and blue channels while rendering the editing interface.

Going back to the current open Android will wipe the phone so that's unfortunately no option to test for me.

I have seen many GPU/Native Canvas related issues, sometimes cured by zooming in/out multiple times, sometimes sorted by going into preferences and changing GPU or technology preview settings, quitting and restarting.

Started happening this morning on my Pixel 8 Pro as well. Pictures display blue when opening for editing. They appear normal in the Lightroom gallery, or in the app switcher view.

You tagged your post as "actions and scripting", which was misleading and confusing as you are not using Photoshop desktop.

Ok  -  but it isn't 'windows', or mac, or ioS, or SDK or web. How do I flag this? This is my first time trying this forum and I just want to fix this. Adobe agents were no help unfortunately.

I don't know, I only use desktop.

Perhaps a moderator could move this topic to the appropriate forum so that it could be better addressed by mobile users.

I've moved your post from Photoshop to Lightroom.

Please show a screenshot and tell us what kind of device you are using.

Does it happen with all photos or only those from Google Photos? When did this start?

Jane can I send you a video please? When I take a screenshot, the image
'flicks back' from being a negative. I was speaking to an agent yesterday
who asked for a video but I don't know where to send it and I think it will
help.

I have the exact same issue. Using Pixel 8 Pro. Seems like it is a bug. It was working fine a couple of weeks ago.
