AI denoise - unsupported photo

Question

I am having issues with AI denoise with my laptop. It will denoise Sony ARW images on an old very slow laptop (70 mins) but when I try it on my newer laptop with it states "The selected photo is not supported by this feature". It states it will process in 5 mins but then gets the error.

GPU is DirectX NVIDIA GeForece 940MX (30.0.15.1169) 2GB

Intel HD Graphics 620

Core i7 7th gen chip

16gb RAM

Hey @Stodge_PJ. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out.

We generally recommend a GPU with more than 2000 ops/sec. The Intel Graphics 620 & Nvidia GeForce 940MX scores are just 431 & 877. Check here to learn more: https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/directCompute.html

While the VRAM component may meet the requirements, graphically demanding features may not be as smooth.
