It's not clear why this happened. Checking your account here against the server, it seems like you created your account just over a week ago, and subscribed yesterday. Photos in your free account should remain after you subscribe the account.
I do see you are using a very old build v6.1.0 from Dec 2020. If I remember correctly, the team did fix an issue that may be the cause of your trouble. Is there any reason you are not using the latest release from this month? To get the best version of the app, with latest fixes etc, I really do urge you to update the app to v7.4.2
In the meantime, as long as you did not uninstall the app and install it again *before* you subscribed, it may be possible to recover original, unedited images from the Lightroom app cache. ...Using iTunes on Windows, or Finder on newer Mac OS releases, you can browse Lightroom's cache and copy out any original photos you can find from the app cache. I hope this helps you recover files you can't find in the app or on your camera roll.
