Android vs iOS lightroom

Something that frustrates me to the point that I am considering other options for photo storage and editing: 

Lightroom mobile in android allows users to navigate photos by year when browsing in All Photos. You can minimize or expand each year allowing for quick navigation. I have recently switched to iOS on my phone and this feature is missing. See photos below to see the difference. I have to scroll through my entire catalog to reach older years, stopping periodically to figure out how far I have gone. It wouldn't matter if the search function were actually reliable but Lightroom search makes google photos look like the wave of the future.  It is ridiculous that there would be two different versions of this app with one missing such useful functionality.
