I'm running Lightroom 8.4 on an M1 Macbook Pro under Sequoia (15.5).
And I'm scanning hundreds of old(er) slides and print photos, so of course "capture date" and that sort of thing is based on the day/time that I'm scanning. I'd love to be able to select 20 or 30 images at a time and apply a single date, or even title, or description in the metadata of those images. But there doesn't seem to be a way to do this in Lightroom, though, as I understand it, this exists in Lightroom Classic. What are the chances that this can be developed? Or, if I'm missing something obvious (I have searched!), please let me know.
In the Lightroom Desktop app, you can apply metadata changes (including changes to the capture date/time) to multiple images.....simply use one of the two grids, select all the target images, make the change. The change is applied to all selected images.
