Are RAW files compressed before displayed in Lightroom on Apple TV?

I use Lightroom Classic for my RAW files. The files are synced to Adobe cloud and accessible from other platforms using Lightroom. After the file has been synced I import the RAW file once again from Lightroom to cloud. This forces the low resolution file in cloud to be replaced with the full size RAW file. Now to the question;

I view the photos on my TV using Lightroom for Apple TV. In what format/resolution is the photo displayed? I can tell from the quality that it is NOT the full RAW file that is shown. Is the file converted/compressed on the fly to lower resolution/less colors before sent to Apple TV?

Is there any way to prevent any conversion/compression so I can view the full size photo through Apple TV?

Apple TV versions of Lightroom are limited to Smart Previews. Regardless of the ingest platform, Classic, Desktop, Web, etc, the output will be downsized on your LrTV.  I hope that helps.

Lightroom TVOS uses a smart preview downloaded from the cloud - not an original. If your TV is 4K you will see some interpolation of pixels as the image is upsized for a larger than image display.

Hi Rikk and thanks for reply.

Yes, I'm aware of that a smart preview is uploaded/synced to the cloud from Lightroom classic. But, that's why I AFTER the sync go into Lightroom (cloud version) and add the same photo once more, but this time as a RAW file. Lightroom can see that the new RAW file being added already exist (as a preview) and then just "updates" the existing preview with the full RAW file. So now I have a full RAW file in cloud. But still, it seems like a preview or similar is showed through the Apple TV app (even though the source is now full RAW).

I can simplify the question a bit;

What if I only use Lightroom cloud version? In that scenario I only have RAW files in cloud. What would be the result here when viewing the photos in the Apple TV app? Both Apple TV and TV are full 4K devices.

Let me add that after the RAW file was uploaded to cloud I can verify in Lightroom that the file is "Original - ARW" and this is true for both Local and Cloud. Before the RAW file was uploaded to cloud I could see that both Local and Cloud was set to "Smart preview". I have attached a screenshot from Lightroom showing this. I'm running Lightroom in Swedish, but "Original - ARW" is probably same in both Swedish and English.
