Hi everyone! New to the group. Seeking some advice... I have a B&W photo that I'd love to convert to color. Are there any Lightroom experts here who could share some tips on how to achieve a natural-looking color conversion? Thanks in advance!

Hi @Dynamic_mentor5CE5, welcome to the community!

It might take a bit of time, but one way to get that effect is by creating separate masks for different areas and then adjusting the color and lighting for each. I gave it a quick try by going to "Create New Mask" and selecting "People", Lightroom will automatically detect the people in the photo and let you choose specific areas like skin, hair, etc. Once selected, you can tweak the color and light sliders until you get the look you're going for. You can repeat the process for each specific area you want to color

Hope this helps, let us know how it goes!
