Calibrite camera Profiles not working in Lr (desktop)

Currently installed versions:

  • Lr (desktop): 7.3
  • LrC: 13.3
  • Ps: 25.9
  • Camera Raw: 16.3

Desktop: iMac mini M2 Pro, macOS Sonoma 14.5

I've installed the Calibrite Colorchecker Camera Calibration software successfully and have created camera Profiles for both my iPhone 15 Pro Max and Nikon Z 6 II in Camera RAW and Adobe Photoshop. I have also got the same camera Profiles working in Adobe Lightroom Classic (LrC).

However, I can't get the Profiles to display in Adobe Lightroom (desktop version) (Lr). I thought that both versions of Lightroom on a desktop iMac were powered by Camera Raw and hence the Profiles would be available in Lr.

I am aware that this sort of issue was highlighted in Q3/4 2023. Is this still a known issue and limitation?

You need to import these profiles into Lightroom. Lightroom does not use the local Camera Raw folder, but stores profiles in the cloud.

Hi,

LrC 14.3.1 here, MacBook Pro M3 Pro, MacOS Sequoia 15.5.

I created a profile for my iPhone, with Calibrite Lr plugin and named it 'iPhone 15 Pro Max',  but in the Profile Browser under Profiles I just see two profiles named 'Apple Pro Raw' and 'Apple Pro Raw Monochrome'.

Any idea why my profile isn't being displayed ?

Thanks - I thought that might be the case.

However, the 2 that I created for LrC and Camera Raw appear to be stored in a hidden folder. I know the path to the stored folder but can't access it on the iMac.

Will it work if I create more Profiles using the CCC software and then store them on the desktop (if I can do that) before importing them into Lr?
