Camera in Lightroom black screen on iPhone 13 mini

A student of our class installed the lightroom app on an iphone 13 mini.
Both the IOS  (18.3.1) version and the app version have the latest version.
The problem is that the cameras are black. So she can't take pictures in the app.
Is this a known bug?

Hey, @Harold Vergucht. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out.

When you open Lightroom for mobile for the first time, allow the app to access your camera when prompted. You can check these permissions in iPhone Settings > Other Apps > Adobe Lightroom.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

We have verified the app's access permissions to the hardware and iOS functions. These appear to be correctly configured. Additionally, we have attempted a reinstallation of the app. However, the issue persists. We suspect this may be an iOS-related bug?

I've tested this with another device internally & the issue does not exist. My speculation is aligned with yours that it might be an issue at the OS level.

Thanks!

Well still have to check if the student stil has the issue…
Thank you Sameer for your time!
