Cannot apply presets to multiple photos

Hi,

I cannot apply preset to multiple photos. I selected many photos in Lightroom and applied preset, but only the one showing as main window is updating, none of the other selected pictures are unchanged.

 

Also when selected grid view and then trying to click the edit (top tight icon) to show the edit panel and the presets, the grid view is changed to details view. Using LR version 5.5

While remaining in 'Edit' mode- Click on the [...] icon to Copy settings from the one edited image [Ctrl + C], then select multiple photos on the Filmstrip and 'Paste to Entire Selection' [Ctrl + Shift + V]

It does not seem like its working in Lightroom 6.0

You need to copy the settings first. This is not applying a preset to multiple photos, it's copy/paste to multiple photos. That means you have to apply your preset first, then copy the settings and then you can paste the settings onto multiple photos.
