Cannot import images to Lightroom

Question

I was able to import images yesterday into lightroom without any issues.
Now when I go to import images, nothing shows up. I updated everything, restarted my entire system....I cant even click and drag an image, it just wont show up in the program. i still have access to all the other images in lightroom, i just cant add any more. I was able to import them into photoshop and bridge, so I know its not an issue with the images format. Im just wondering if there is a way to fix this, or if anyone else is having the same issues as me.

Hi there,

Sorry that you cannot import images into Lightroom.

Which version of Lightroom are you using?

Have you tried importing from a different import location? You may try resetting the Lightroom app preferences to default? Press and hold the Shift + Option + Delete keys.(Mac) or Press and hold the Shift + Alt + Delete (Windows) keys while starting Lightroom. A dialog box should appear asking you restore the preferences.
