Canon R1 Images (raw) not able to import into Adobe Lightroom - please help!

Hi!

First shoot with the Canon R1 - trying to import raw photos into Lightroom to edit them. I get this message. Tried a few different ways to get them to import. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

I've updated Camera Raw and I have the latest version of Lightroom 17.1...

FYI, Camera Raw is a plugin used by Photoshop and Bridge but not Lightroom.

Lightroom has Camera Raw support built into the program code. So, to get updated camera support in Lightroom, you only need to update Lightroom itself.

There is no Lightroom 17.1. Check the version in the Help - System info menu. The Canon R1 is supported from Lightroom 7.5 onwards.
