cant upload photo from camera roll onto lightroom app

Hi,

I have just downloaded the lightroom app for my phone but am struggling to upload pictures onto it. I click on the option to upload and hit camera roll and then pic a picture and do add one photo and it pops up saying '1 photo failed to import'. Why is this? I hae gone into settings and made sure that my photos are stored in original full versions on my phone which they wernt before but they are still not uploading. when I click on the images through my normal photos app they are downloading fine from Icloud. I also tried taking a new photo and it worked for that but none of my other photos on my camera roll.

      Is the file which won't import an unsupported file format for Lightroom? Possibly HEVC or HEIF?

      I’m sorry I have no idea which type of photo it is or how to even find that out (I’m not good with tech). It’s just a photo I took from a dog walk the other day on my iPhone using my iPhone camera..

      Thanks, I’m in a very bad situation I can’t develop 1.000 pictures without this feauture, have you got an idea about the date of new release?
