Chromatic aberration appears on the exported .jpeg

Hi,

I noticed that when I export some of my edited .NEF photos to .jpeg with Lightroom CC, chromatic aberration appears as violet/pink pixelised spots. I really don't understand why since I export my pictures with 100% quality. It is even more incomprehensible to me cause when I work on the .NEF file (1st picture), I don't see the violet spots and the colors in the background are blending in a very smoothly way. The problem is that once I export the picture to .jpeg file (2nd picture), the colors in the background are no longer blending smoothly. Instead, I get fuchsia spots in between color transitions. I found that very annoying since the result of my work doesn't fit what It was initially. 

Can someone please tell me where am I doing something wrong?

Hi Guillaume,

Sorry that you're seeing some chromatic aberration in some of your images in Lightroom.

Are you using Lightroom Classic or Lightroom desktop and which exact version?

Chromatic aberration appears as a color fringe along the edges of objects. It is caused by the failure of the lens to focus different colors to the same spot, aberrations in sensor microlenses, and by flare. Lightroom Classic provides a checkbox to automatically correct blue-yellow and red-green fringes, also known as lateral chromatic aberration.

Have you tried using the option "Remove Chromatic Aberrations" in Lightroom Classic?

Yes, I did tried the option.

I’m using the latest version of lightroom CC on my Macbook. I think my problem has something to do with the sampling and the depth of color when exporting. I tried to export in .tiff, and it works, but the file size is way bigger. It would have been nice to get the same result with .jpeg format since it is usable everywhere.

JPEG always involves compression.
