Cloud storage full on Lightroom - how to fix?

After deleting hundreds of photos and not managing to clear any space, I started going through ALL PHOTOS and noticed hundreds of photos I thought I had deleted (or at least are removed from the folders and albums I am currently using for the projects). Is there any way I can delete these unused, unallocated photos without too much trouble and hassle and free up some space?

Is there something else I could be missing? I am very confused...

Thanks!

If you delete photos in Lightroom cloud, they are not immediately deleted but end up in an online trash folder for a while. Empty that folder to delete them permanently and clear up space. It's under "All Photos ".
