Question

Cloud storage is full - deleting wont sync new photos

I have been deleting the photos, so I can upload more photos into Lightroom to edit. However, deleting the photos no longer works, and cloud keep showing 20GB is full while I've deleted over 1000 photos.

Before the usual suspects givces the same replies to other topics;

I've checked cloud stroage through the correct links,

I;ve made sure there are no photos stuck in syncing or taking space in Deleted folder.

The lightroom app symply does not sync anymore to reflect the changes interms of storage. With all the topics complaining about the same thing. and the same reply contact the support while the link does not even give an email address to ask for support, This whole ordeal looks like Adobe trying to squueze people to pay for storage rather than deal with their app problems (by not solving the issue).

any real help or solutions welcome, but if there is none. I will simply cancel my subscription.

Your account is currently showing > 68 GB of space used for a 20 GB Subscription. You would need to delete approximately 49 GB of information in order for new information to sync.  Make sure you are emptying the files and deleted items at: https://assets.adobe.com/cloud-documents Synced Files tab.

Very sorry that you've been running into problems here.  We've had other users complaining about not being able to delete photos, but having them dim instead.  Is that possibly what you were seeing?

It looks like this may now be fixed or you have a workaround as I see your account is now well under quota.  If you are still seeing a problem, let us know.  And, if you hit this again, would be great to get more info as we've not been able to reproduce this issue.
