colour banding from lightroom to PS

Question

Hi,I'm having this issue on regular basis and havent found a solution. When opening a picture from Lr to Ps , Ps tells me that the picture has changed ( opr something along those lines) and asks me if I want to save it. I press yes and this happens (see visual reference attached)Some results are even worse with yellow and purple thik lines accross the whole picture.Could really use some help.
I'm on Macbook M1 pro 14 , Sonoma 14.6.1

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
