Hi there, I'm having an issue similar to one I've seen others post with opening Lightroom. Every time I click on anything in the app after launch it crashes without an error message. If I don't click on anything, it crashes anyway in about 10-15 seconds. I suspect it could be a graphics card issue as I'm running an aftermarket card (RTX 3060ti), but I'm unable to even open Preferences within Lightroom to try disabling the GPU.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance š

Hi there,
We are sorry to hear that Adobe Lightroom is crashing. We are here to help.
Which version of Lightroom and Windows are you using? Check if the graphic drivers are up-to-date or not (https://www.nvidia.com/en-in/geforce/drivers/)? Also, try re-downloading and re-installing the drivers.
Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?
If Lightroom was working on this machine before, it has started crashing recently. Before further troubleshooting, we need to ensure you have all the data backed up locally or on the cloud.
You can log on to Lightroom Web (https://lightroom.adobe.com) to check and confirm everything is synced.
Try these steps:

Hi Ranjisha,
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I'm using Windows 10 Pro, version 19044.1706, and Lightroom 5.3. My GPU drivers are set to auto-update so I should have the latest version installed, I'll try the fix you suggested tomorrow and let you know the results!
Thanks again,
Jack
