Creative Cloud app iPad Lightroom app

Hi. I'm a long time LR 6 user on an older iMac. A long time ago, I downloaded LR mobile and had a Creative Cloud trial with it for 5GB of storage. I played around with it during the trial, but decided I didn't need it, so I deleted the apps from the device I was using.

Last month, I decided to give LR mobile another try, so I bought an annual subscription through the Apple App Store on my iPad. That subscription (Ver. 9.0.0) came with 100 GB of Creative Cloud storage. I've been using LR and exploring the ecosystem for about a month. I'm comfortable with it and the work flow now, so I decided to download the CC app. When I did that, it shows that I only have 5GB of storage and that I am over the limit (because of the past month's worth of new work), instead of reflecting the 100GB of storage I just purcahsed.

To be clear, when I open the LR mobil app, the CC storage limit says 100GB. When I open the CC app on my desktop, iPhone or iPad, the limit is capped at 5GB (the old free trial limit) and I'm prompted to buy more storage. Interestingly, they both report I'm using 5.71GB of storage. The sign in credentials are the same as well.

The only thing I can come up with is when I deleted the old trial version a few years ago, something got stuck or broken in CC. It's as if the CC apps won't recognize the storage purchased through Apple.

I've been searching here for a while for an answer, but I'm not having much luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The likeliest cause is that you are logged in with two different Adobe IDs.

Note: The mobile subscription does not entitle Desktop usage, but it should work on your iPhone if you are logged in correctly.

If you purchase the Desktop subscription instead, it will work on both PCs and Devices.

Hello Rikk,

Thank you for reaching out. I had actually thought about that before I posted this post. I have only ever had one Adobe profile. I used it to purchase Lightroom when it was a standalone Mac piece of software. As Adobe transitioned to the subscription model, I stayed with LR 6 because it worked well for me.
At some point, I subsequently downloaded the mobile app to give it a try. I logged into the app with the same credentials, experimented with it, and ran out the trial period of ten days without purchasing anything. The trial came with 5GB of Creative Cloud Storage.

During the trial, I uploaded maybe 15 or so RAW files to experiment with. When I decided not to purchase it then, I deleted the app. I downloaded it maybe a year or two ago, but quickly deleted it again.

I recently decided to purchase LR on my iPad. I prepaid for one year through the App Store. It came with 100GB of CC storage and access to the CC app.

When I downloaded the CC app, I didn't notice that it was displaying my data plan as maxed out until after I had it on my iPhone for a few days.

The really weird part is that on each device, I have the LR mobile app and the CC app. Both are logged into the same Adobe profile (my only one). LR shows 5.7GB of 100GB of CC storage used. CC shows my usage at 114% capacity (5.7GB of 5GB) and prompts me to buy more storage. I also can see the original practice photos from several years ago, as well as the new work I have added over the past few weeks. The CC app will not acknowledge the CC storage purchased with LR Mobile.

I tried signing out and back in to each app and nothing changes.
