Delete Smugmug Connection?

I was having trouble uploading photos to my SmugMug site, and I got so fed up with it that I deleted the SmugMug account. Now I'm trying to remove the SmugMug connection from Lightroom. Unfortunately, it says I must open the site first. (I got this message before I deleted the SmugMug account, too.) I deleted all SmugMug files on my laptop. I also re-installed LightRoom. The SmugMug connection is still there. When I option-click on the connection and click "delete connection", it says "cannot remove connections that contain projects". But it won't let me delete the projects (even though I deleted all the pictures from them).

So how do I delete the SmugMug connection?
