Denoise Stopping Half Way Through

Hi - hoping someone can help

When I try to denoise a photo in lightroom it starts the process but will stop and close the photo I am working on. When i reopen the photo no denoise has taken to the photo. 

Does anyone know why this might be and how I fix it?

Hi @amy_5103, welcome to the community!
Could you share a few more details, like which version of Lightroom you’re using? Also, please make sure your graphics card drivers and Lightroom are fully updated to the latest versions.
If the issue persists, could you share your System Info? You can find it in Lightroom under Help > System Info. Just copy the info into a text file and attach it to your response, or share it with us through Google Drive, WeTransfer, or any file-sharing platform you prefer.
