Downloading individual photos from a shared album

If you've set up the album to allow downloads as shown above, the correct process is to short tap on the interface and use the share icon to download the image. Don't long press. 

Yes it is important to allow downloads in the 'Settings'.

Then when i notify my clients or family of the Link, I also send them this 'letter' of advice-

Hi.

Here is a Web Link to photos and the instructions to view and download -

Your link to the online photos is-   XXXX

Copy and insert this link into the Address Search box of your favourite Web Browser-

            Windows Edge, Mac Safari, Firefox, etc.

The Browser will open a screen of the photos.

            After viewing you can close the Browser.

You are welcome to share this Web Link with Family and Friends should you so wish.

VIEWING THE PHOTOS

You can scroll down for more photos beyond those that fill one page.

*To enlarge to a single photo view:     Click the mouse cursor on one photo.

*To return to Photo Grid View: Press the [Esc] key, or click on the [X] button (top-right).

DOWNLOADING PHOTOS          ( If  Permitted.)

*          In Photo Grid view   ( To download ALL photos.)

            Click on the three dots icon [···].

            Click on  [Download Photos]

            This will open a dialog box allowing you to SAVE a ‘ZIP’ file containing all the photos.

            Use your operating system to ‘Extract’ the photos from a ZIP file.

*          In Single Image View   ( To download ONE photo )

            Click on the three dots icon [···].

            Click on  [Download]

            A dialog box allows you to SAVE this one photo.
