Duplicate an album?

I have just created a "Shared To Web" album in Lightroom 2.4.1 for Mac and spent a great deal of time adjusting the order of images (which you can only do online, not in the OSX app which is very weird) Now I want to create multiple copies of this album and make slight edits and removals to send to different clients.

Does anyone know how to duplicate a Shared To Web album in Lightroom CC?

Plus if you want to make different edits in each Album you would have use Edit - Duplicate Photo.

(The versions feature wouldn't work here as both Albums would be looking at the same photo, which lives in both the Albums)

If I understand the question, a work-around should be possible.

1) Select all the images in {Album-1}

2) Create a new Album MENU: Edit > Albums > Create Album... {Album-2}

3) Set {Album-2} to share.

Result- two similar albums that can be custom sorted individually.

Chatted with support and currently (April 6, 2023) it's not possible to duplicate an album in Lightroom CC

Seems like a no brainer feature and very surprised it doesn't exist
