Duplicate photos in Lightroom CC

I have seen many answers to duplicate photos in Lightroom Classic CC. But I have not seen any answers for the same problem in Lightroom CC. Are there any answers for this part of the ecosystem?

I have a total mess. Thousands of photos with no telling how many duplicates My 100GB is drying up.

Same thing here, heaps of duplicates and it's been going on forever without a fix in sight. Looking at switching to Capture One.

I don't see why this is considered to be the correct answer. The question, which I also like to see answered, concerns the Lightroom CC version, NOT the Classic version.

When still running the good old LR version 6, I could use PhotoSweeper (which is on the App Store), but this has not yet been integrated into the new CC.

The only other option I currently see is to use PhotoSweeper directly on the folder containing the local original files. But then, after finding the duplicates, you need to delete the photo's manually from within LR CC as I have not yet seen any reference to the option to refresh the catalog of LR CC after having files removed from the local original files folder tree...

I'm hoping someone has a better option?
