Duplicated images.

Hi there. When uploading images from my card reader into LRC. It creates duplicates. They are no duplicated in camera. But when I uploaded 192 images I now have 384 images. Can anyone tell me how to stop this?

I'm having a similar issue with Lightroom on my MB Air. I imported my entire Google Photos catalog, and there are frequently duplicates.

I was wondering if there's an easy way to remove them? There appeared to be plugins to do this with LR Classic. But I can't find anything for cloud-based LR.

Which version of Lightroom are you using?

Is it possible that you had your camera set to capture raw+jpeg?

Hi Theresa,

Yes I’ve checked that. And also tried tried to upload from a separate
camera and memory card it still shows double the amount of images on the
card.

Which Lightroom are you using? Where are you counting the double images, in the import or add photos window, or after they are imported? Can you share a screen capture so we can see what you see?
