Error message: “No connected camera device found” when attempting to import

Hello, I've successfully imported from a cf card using a card reader plugged into my iPad Pro (iPadOS 15.6) in the past couple weeks and now it's suddenly giving me an error message that no connected camera device found. I've tried the fix in privacy>files and folders and merging the two folders but nothing seems to help. I can't imagine that my card reader is already broken after using it twice but I have no clue. Any help?

Hi,

which version of the app are you on?
If you use the photos app, do you see the card there?
If not, does restarting the iPad Pro help?
