I have Lightroom (not classic) need to export 300 dpi.  But it keeps only exporting at 240 dpi.  How do you get high res export?

Note that the dpi setting is only metadata. It does not fundamentally change anything about the exported image. If you need to print at 8x10 at 300 pixels per inch for example, you just need an image exported at 2400x3000 pixels. The dpi metadata in the file does not matter. The field when enabled when you specify your output size in inches (or cm) instead of pixels just does the calculation for you to calculate the dimension in pixels it needs to export at.

Make sure you configure your units to Inches. It enables changing the ppi value.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
