“Export as” problem

Community Beginner ,
Feb 25, 2025 Feb 25, 2025

When I want to use the function "Export as", maximum number of photos that I can save to my gallery is just five. If I select more than 5 photos, Lightroom does not give me the option to do that, instead I have to send them to my Files first, and then from there to save them to my gallery. Why?

I use Mobile Lightroom for IOS, version 9.2.2.

The latest version of Lightroom iOS 10.2.2 does not have that limit.

Is there any reason you cannot update from 9.2.2 (a very old app version)?  I know you should be able to update to LR iOS v10.1.3 if you are running iOS 16.

I was not aware that my LR version is not the latest, but once again as I updated it to 10.2.2. the same problem is still there.

Since i cannot reproduce, could you possibly share a screen recording showing your steps, your export settings, etc.?  How to: https://support.apple.com/en-us/102653

Before doing the recording, it would help if you could enable Show Touches in Lightroom's App Settings > Input

Because of the file size I had to do it twice, so in this first part I selected 6 photos for export and as you can see, I didnt have the option for saving them to my gallery.

(I choose "Export as" instead of "Save copy to device" because I need to put a watermark)

And in the second part when I select 5 photos everything is fine.

I do see the same as you when using "Export as", but I'm confused when you say you are using this option instead of "Save copy to device" because you need to include a watermark. "Save copy to device" also allows you to include a watermark, see attached screenshot.

Oh bravo, thanks to both of you for the help. I did not even realize that I can press this button and edit some settings when using "Save copy to device", maybe because I did not have to put watermarks so far. Thanks once again!
