Hi andy

Do you have the originals on your computer? If so you can simply install Lightroom and click the button to add photos and wait for the files to upload to the cloud.

If your originals are only stored with Amazon you would need to download them back to your computer. That may be as simple as clicking the restore button if you have the Amazon backup app installed. I have that with my Prime subscription although I’ve never tried restore. Otherwise you will need to download albums separately.

I suggest you download the Creative Cloud desktop app. You can install Lightroom from there or start it as a 7 day trial.

Are you using the latest version Lightroom 2.3.1?

When you select photos in a folder and click to review for import it is possible to add to an album. See image below.

Yes thats right but on 600 albums it is a very complicated and slow way. is this the only solution folder by folder? On amazon photo you can upload folders and then make autmatically create albums.

That would be a great feature but I don’t think it’s possible yet. I would love to be able to select a parent folder and all sub-folders with Lightroom creating separate albums for each. However I do find my upload speed is much slower than download speed and doing one folder at a time sometimes helps e.g. without tying up the computer for hours.

Maybe Lightroom Cloudy is not the right program for you?

Lightroom Classic may be the better choice. It has an option to create a Collection Set from a folder structure - this automatically creates the albums/collections.

The photos could be in stored in your own local folder system and in the cloud, as you decide. So you could put your folders in the Creative Cloud folders, or in Dropbox folders, OneDrive or other cloud folders. I've not tested with Amazon.
